Course Objectives

At the start students will be familiarized with the basic concepts of Networks, their Topologies, and Network Models. Also students will be equipped with the knowledge of signals, transmission (digital and analog). This part will also include flow and error control mechanisms and different protocols being used for this purpose such as HDLC and PPP.
